We (or the webspace provider) automatically gather data every time this online offering is accessed. This information - also referred to as server logfiles - is of a general nature and allows no conclusions to be drawn concerning your person.

The following data is also gathered (amongst others): name of website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL (the site you were on prior to visiting our offering), and IP address.

Without this data it would not be possible for technical reasons to supply and display the website content in all cases. As such, the gathering of data is essential. We also use anonymous information for statistical purposes. This helps us to optimise our offering and technology. We also reserve the right to retrospectively check logfiles if there is a suspicion of unlawful use of our offering.

Handling of personal data
Definition: personal data is constituted by all information which can be used to uniquely identify a person. It therefore concerns data which can be traced back to an individual.

This personal data includes first and last name, telephone number and email address. Information on hobbies, memberships and preferences is also considered personal data, as is information on Internet pages which have been accessed.

This data is only gathered, used and - where applicable - passed onto others insofar as this is explicitly permitted by the legislature, or the user has consented to the gathering, processing, use and dissemination of the data.

If required, registered users have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time. We will naturally provide you upon request with information on which personal data has been gathered and stored. If you contact us via the online form or by email, we will save the information you provide in order to respond to your query and ask any potential follow-up questions.

Data minimisation
We store personal data in accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation and only for the time period required or stipulated by the legislature (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the gathered information no longer applies, or the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

Your right of access, rights to rectification, blocking, deletion or objection
You have the right to request information free of charge concerning the personal data we have stored and/or to demand rectification, blocking or erasure of said data. Exceptions: the data is being stored in accordance with statutory stipulations for the purposes of performing business transactions, or the data is subject to the statutory retention obligation.

Please contact our data protection officer for queries relating to these purposes (privacy@eldat.de).

It is necessary to keep the data in a locked file for control purposes and to facilitate the blocking of data at all times. If no statutory archiving obligation applies, you can also demand that this data be deleted. The data can also be blocked if requested.

Amendments to our data protection declaration
We reserve the right to make changes at any time to our data protection declaration to ensure it always corresponds to the latest statutory requirements. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration requires adaption on the basis of new or revised services performed by us. The new data protection declaration will then take effect upon your next visit to our online offering.
